Generally site diagrams are portrayed 2-dimensionally. All detail of the site topography (roadway crown, % grade, etc) will be shown on the diagram. Multiple angles can be requested that show a particular detail of interest.

Roll-over drawings are typically shown with the vehicle positioned every 1/4 roll. A detailed view can be shown to explain vehicle to roadway contact (see "zoom detail" below) Evidence such as rim gouges, fluid stains and broken glass reveal the vehicles position and orientation - all of which can be shown on a high-resolution diagram.

Utilizing a total station for accident site inspections assures that precise scaled diagrams are generated for sensitive analysis such as conservation of momentum. Exhibit-A will determine the point-of-impact "POI" and the point(s)-of-rest "POR" from the site investigation. We will perform exemplar vehicle inspections for damage profiles, vehicle mass and center-of-gravity "CG" location. Tire marks and roadway gouges reveal the approach angles, so all that is left is to plug the numbers off the diagram into the formula. Say goodby to the graphing method of momentum analysis.

Show the jury what your client couldn't see with a line of sight exhibit. Exhibit-A will hire a driver surrogate to determine the appropriate eye height. With the "rod" set at eye height, site inspections depicting obstructed views are precisely captured.

As a rule-of-thumb, 3-dimensional diagrams are ineffective tools without an animation to support them. Exhibit-A (as a partner) can provide the necessary support materials to individuals constructing an accurate and effective animation.
